Ms. Pamela C. Buckley is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) who brings over 23 years of regulatory compliance experience and expertise to FIS EGRC Solutions. For the past 10 years, she has established and led EGRC’s New England Region, partnering with over 125 financial institution clients. As a former examiner, Ms. Buckley is an expert in compliance requirements and assists FIS financial institution clients in effectively implementing compliance solutions. She has developed and administered effective compliance management systems, performed enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments, established and executed compliance audit and monitoring programs, and delivered customized compliance training.

Ms. Buckley’s areas of expertise include compliance program administration, policies and procedures, training, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity (ECOA), Fair Housing, Home Mortgage Disclosure (HMDA), Flood Insurance, Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), and social media. Mr. Roy DeCicco is a Managing Director for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank - Global Markets Infrastructure Group. Based in New York, Mr. DeCicco manages the firm’s relationship with payments and clearing market infrastructures and strategic payments-related initiatives with industry associations, public policy authorities, international market infrastructures and other financial institutions.

These responsibilities provide for active engagement with key industry organizations. Mr. DeCicco is the Chairman the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X9 Board, the Chairman of the ABA Payment Systems Administrative Committee and the co-chair of the SWIFT Payments Market Practice Group. He is also a member of the Federal Reserve Payments Risk Committee Working Group.


Jan Estep

Jan Estep is president and chief executive officer of NACHA — The Electronic Payments Association. NACHA oversees the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, the backbone for the electronic movement of money and data.

As president and CEO, Estep guides NACHA’s daily operations and rulemaking processes, and encourages the development, promotion, and use of electronic payment solutions such as Direct Deposit via ACH and Direct Payment via ACH. Her responsibilities include ensuring that the ACH Network remains a safe, high-quality payments system through enforcement of the fair and equitable NACHA Operating Rules, which govern the Network and guide risk management and create certainty for all participants.

Estep also leads NACHA in industry collaboration, education, and dialogue to facilitate the balance between innovation and risk management, thereby strengthening the Network and helping the industry create valuable payment solutions.


Gregory S. Frank

Mr. Greg Frank joined RBC in June 2012. He serves as both a Director who covers banks on the Institutional Client Management team (ICM) and as a Senior Account Manager who enables business development through the account management and financing of RBC’s subsidiaries. Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Frank was with Moody’s Investors Service where he spent seven years as a Senior Analyst covering US banks. Prior to that, he was with Citigroup for thirteen years in several capacities, the more recent being a Senior Credit Officer in FIG and the Senior Industry Analyst for Banks and Securities.


Rita Gonzalez

Ms. Rita Gonzalez joined the HSBC Group in NY in 1986. She has undertaken a variety of assignments including Sector Head of Financial Institutions, Group’s product development of Trade Solutions, Negotiation of Strategic Alliances, and Restructuring of Debt Crisis in Argentina. In August 2005, she assumed the responsibility as Head of Global Transactional Banking Institutional Sales, Americas.

Prior to joining HSBC, she was a Team Leader covering Financial Institutions at Standard Chartered Bank, NY. Currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of BAFT; member of the Institute of International Bankers in NYC.


Cheryl Gurz

Ms. Cheryl Gurz is Managing Director and Global Bank Segment Manager for BNY Mellon Treasury Services. In this capacity Cheryl has global responsibility for leading the strategic product direction and core messaging and positioning for this critical client segment. She has been a speaker at several industry conferences, including AFP Annual Conference, Windy City Forum, New York Cash Exchange, NACHA Global Payments Strategies Conference and BAFT/IFSA.

Ms. Gurz joined BNY Mellon in December 2012 and brings over 25 years of financial services experience in diverse roles including, product and market management, finance, payment operations and internal consulting. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, she held leadership roles across global transaction banking specializing in providing strategic solutions to the industry at Citicorp and HSBC. She began her career at The Chase Manhattan Bank through the Internal Audit Management Development Program.


Thomas Halpin

Thomas Halpin joined HSBC in 2007 and is currently the Global Head of Clearing and Foreign Currency Payments Product Management. Tom has over 20 years of experience in Payments and Cash Management industry in a variety of positions including Global Clearing Product Executive, Global Product Strategy and Global Trade Product Head.

Thomas attended Fordham University where he obtained a BS in Finance and Computer Science and pursed further education at Columbia University obtaining an Executive MBA in business.

Charles A. Higham

Charles Higham is a Vice President with Zurich North America in New York City. Mr. Higham is responsible for managing and growing the financial lines segment of Zurich North America focusing on the asset management and banking sectors. Prior to this role Mr. Higham led Zurich’s National Account Financial Services team managing a group of underwriters providing management and professional liability to some of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. Much of his work focuses on providing directors’ and officers’ liability, errors and omissions liability, security and privacy coverage, employment practices liability and fiduciary liability solutions to the financial services industry segment. Mr. Higham holds a bachelor degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Dayton.


Ken Isaacson

Mr. Ken Isaacson is Senior Vice President in the Wholesale Product Office at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is the Chair of the Future Payments Team. Mr. Isaacson has business responsibility for the Fedwire Funds and National Settlement Services on behalf of the twelve Federal Reserve Banks. As Chair of the Future Payments Team, he leads a staff responsible for research and analysis in support of the Federal Reserve Banks’ initiative to improve the payments system in the United States.

Mr. Isaacson has more than 20 years of payments, liquidity and bank supervisory experience at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and leads or participates on numerous industry committees related to high value payment systems and Fedwire services.


Cheryl Beth Jacobs, CTP

Ms. Cheryl Jacobs is the product manager for our Global Urgent Payments and SWIFT for Corporates in our International group. Prior to working in international, she was product manager for Wachovia Connection. She has worked in Treasury Management Product for 19+ years and had managed online services, fraud services, credit sweep and commercial checking.

Ms. Jacobs received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and she earned her CTP in 2000. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she was a Product Manager at both Huntington Bank and Bank One. Ms. Jacobs has spoken at several conferences on SWIFT for Corporates, Fraud Protection Best Practices, SEPA, and Global Payments.


Scott Kinney

Mr. Scott Kinney is part of Wells Fargo's Global Sanctions Office, responsible for developing sanctions screening solutions for customers, accounts, payments and trade across the Wells Fargo footprint. Prior to that, he'd worked in Wells Fargo's Global Financial Institution Unit, mapping various payment systems for their Anti-Money Laundering systems.

Mr. Kinney is a past member of the BAFT-IFSA Payments Compliance committee, the International Chamber of Commerce's Anti-Money Laundering Task Force, and various topic working groups for SWIFT, CHIPS and the Fed. On a dare, he once shoe-horned the first chapter of "The Return of the Native" into a Fed Extended Remittance message.


Jan Koster

Mr. Jan Koster possesses more than 20 years’ experience in IT risk management including security, business resumption/disaster recovery, IT and operational risk management, SOX testing and review, and internal audit for the banking, financial services, manufacturing, education, insurance, and healthcare industries. His unique skill set originated in Big Four accounting, professional services companies, and the largest U.S. bank holding company.

Previously, Mr. Koster served as Regional Director and National Practice Leader for a risk management consulting firm where he was in charge of operational, financial and IT audit clients. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director for a global tax, audit, and business consultancy firm where he managed client engagements, including SAS70 audits, SOX reviews, financial statement reviews, and other IT and operational audits. Other positions include senior management for two of the Big Four accounting firms and he was an SVP leading the IT and operational audit team at a major U.S. bank.


Marcel Krist

Mr. Marcel Krist’s expertise covers a broad spectrum of industries – including financial services, small and medium sized corporates, Family Offices and Real Estate Management. Mr. Krist founded his own consultancy firm in 2006 to provide Interim Management solutions to private owned SME’s. In 2007, he became CEO of Photonfocus AG and was voted Chairman in 2009. Prior to 2005, he was a Director at Credit Suisse, where he developed and managed cross-divisional international and strategic projects incl. managing the Financial Systems at Credit Suisse. Mr. Krist was also responsible for the global implementation of Basel II for Credit Suisse’s Private Banking division. He joined Credit Suisse from McKinsey & Company where he acted as specialised consultant in the financial industry. Mr. Krist launched his banking career at the Zürcher Kantonalbank as Senior Controller following completion of a Master of Business Administration at Zurich University (Switzerland).


Daniel Leong

Mr. Daniel Leong joined Hong Kong Monetary Authority in 1997. He is Senior Manager in the Financial Infrastructure Department responsible for development and promotion of the financial infrastructure in Hong Kong and coordination with overseas central banks and service providers to facilitate cross-border cooperation in financial infrastructure development. Prior to his current position, Mr. Leong held positions in various functions of the HKMA including Banking Development, Markets Development, External Relations, Research, and Banking Policy. In recent years he has been focusing on the preparation of legislative amendments in Hong Kong and the development of cross-border financial infrastructure in relations to Mainland China.


Vanessa Lin

Ms. Vanessa Lin is the North America Head for Clearing and Foreign Currency Payments for the Payments & Cash Management business. She is responsible for managing the overall high value payments and foreign currency payments strategy in the North American region. She represents HSBC in various industry forums, including the Clearing House CHIPS Business Committee, Fed wholesale Advisory Board and SWIFT Cash & Trade Sub-Committee, and is the Vice Chair of the CHIPS Business Committee. In addition, Ms. Lin is the Renminbi (RMB) lead in North America partnering with colleagues in Hong Kong and China to promote the internationalization of RMB.


Gareth Lodge

Gareth Lodge is a senior analyst in Celent’s Banking group and is based in the London office. Part of the Payments Team, his focus is primarily on corporate payments, payments back office and payments networks. He is an acknowledged expert in the field of payments, particularly SEPA, Real-Time Payments and Payment Hubs.

Gareth Lodge has joined Celent with strong experience in the payments business. He has worked at Secura Monde International, the leading advisor to the cash world; at TowerGroup, where he led their Payments and Retail Banking Practices outside of North America; and for VocaLink, the UK based payments processor.

Mr Lodge is well known and respected speaker, having spoken at numerous events including Sibos, EBADay, Nacha Payments, and the Unisys Global Payments Conference. He is regularly asked for his opinion in the media, including television (BBC. Sky, Bloomberg, CNBC), radio and the press (Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, The Banker, etc).


Sharyn Malone

Ms. Sharyn Malone is a Senior Global Cash Management Sales Officer in the Institutional Sales Team within HSBC Bank USA, N.A.. Ms. Malone has more than 20 years of banking experience and held leadership positions in implementation, client services, compliance and operations. She has also served on many industry committee forums including The Clearing House (TCH), the FRB Wholesale Customer Advisory Group (WCAG) and BAFT.


Michael Mangieri

Mr. Michael Mangieri joined Wells Fargo Bank in their New York office in December 2011 as part of the Commercial Payments Core Technical Sales and Payment Strategy Global Payment Services team. He is responsible for new Commercial Payment initiatives related to global payments. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Mangieri spent 23 years at Deutsche Bank where he managed USD Investigation, Compensation, Application Security and Client Services. He was also part of Product Management Technical Infrastructure team the last five years at Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Mangieri has also chaired the BAFT Payments and Compensation committee in the past and participates in numerous other industry related committees including SWIFT Cash and Treasury Committee.


Rob Ortiz

Mr. Rob Ortiz currently leads the Wells Fargo Global Product Management team covering USD and FX transaction banking products designed for global financial institutions. His team manages products supporting international large value commercial and treasury payments, trade payments, ACH (IAT), check clearing and information reporting.

Mr. Ortiz has worked for 25 years in a number of positions in US based banks supporting financial institutions, corporations, small business, and retail customers.


Bob Pepitone

Mr. Bob Pepitone is the CHIPS Product Manager at The Clearing House responsible for global product management and strategy, budgeting and forecasting, product pricing and profitability, competitive market analysis, risk management and product improvements for CHIPS. He also administers the CHIPS Business, CHIPS and Fedwire and CHIPS Funds Transfer Committees. Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mr. Pepitone worked as a Technology and Business Professional at EMC Corporation since 2006. Mr. Pepitone has a Bachelor of Science degree from Wagner College and more recently working on a Master of Science in Systems Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology.


Jane Raso

Ms. Jane Raso is a Counsel in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Office of Regulations, where she works on payments and money transfer issues and is a member of the Bureau’s remittance rulemaking team. Ms. Raso also works on mortgage issues as a member of the Bureau’s Title XIV and TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures rulemaking teams. Prior to joining the Bureau, Ms. Raso worked at the U.S. Department of Treasury to help stand up the CFPB. Prior to Treasury, Ms. Raso was a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Dentons LLP, in Chicago, where she represented clients in connection with public and private mergers, acquisitions, and the disposition of companies, as well as financing and venture capital transactions. Ms. Raso is a graduate of Yale Law School and Yale University.


Stacy Rosenthal

Ms. Stacy Rosenthal is a Director focused on payments strategy and solutions for the corporate, correspondent banking and market infrastructure landscape including product launch and management. She joined SWIFT in 2008 from Bank of America. At SWIFT she has been working on key initiatives compliance, reference data, payments automation, regulatory issues and business intelligence.

At Bank of America, Ms. Rosenthal was a Senior Vice President, Product consulting in Global Treasury. She served as a subject matter expert for treasury technology, integration, electronic payables, and comprehensive receivables. Prior to Bank of America she worked in enterprise financial software for 10 years.


Amy Sahm

Ms. Amy Sahm joined Fulton Financial’s International Group in 2002 following a long-term career in the Japanese banking and trade industry. Initially her primary responsibilities were management of the bank’s foreign exchange business along with sales and marketing for the International Group. She was later promoted to department manager. The International Group at Fulton is responsible for foreign exchange risk management and the processing of incoming and outgoing foreign payments for Fulton’s customer base. The business line includes international checks, wire transfer, foreign banknotes and foreign exchange hedging products. The department primarily serves import / export clients within Fulton’s five state footprint.

Ms. Sahm is a member of the World Trade Center of Central PA Board of Directors and the International Business Advisory Boards of Elizabethtown College and the Chester County Economic Development Council. She also serves as a member of the North American Council and acts as co-chair of the Regional Bank Council for BAFT.


Jennifer Spratley

Jennifer Spratley is a Senior Vice President and group manager of the Wholesale Fraud Prevention team at Wells Fargo. She has 26 years of experience in financial services, primarily in Treasury Management, having led teams in operations, customer service implementation, product management and the online delivery channel.

Jennifer’s team is responsible for all aspects of fraud management from customer education, external threat management, and fraud tools and analytics, to business process management and investigations. They are also responsible for defining the wholesale online authentication strategy and ultimately, for providing a safe and secure online and mobile environment for Wells Fargo’s wholesale customers.


Judy P. Stoldt

Judy P. Stoldt is a Senior Vice President in the Financial Crime Compliance department at HSBC supporting the Payments and Management (“PCM”) and Global Banking and Markets (“GBM”) business units. Judy has been with HSBC for 16 years holding positions in both PCM and AML Compliance. She started her career with HSBC as a Product Manager for USD wire payments and moved to AML Compliance in 2004. During her 10 years in AML Compliance she has held multiple roles in monitoring, KYC and enhanced due diligence with a specific focus on Correspondent Banking and USD Clearing products.

Judy holds a BS in Economics from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Pace University.


Barry Tooker

Mr. Barry Tooker is a Vice President with Clear2Pay Americas. A recognized an expert in wholesale banking, Barry has been involved in operations and systems related projects for global banks and software firms as both a consultant and line manager for more than 40 years.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tooker has managed day to day operations for major money center and super regional banks. He has planned, organized, directed and managed major initiatives—including leading payment systems re-engineering efforts and other critical software installation projects—for tier 1 and 2 banks and financial services organizations around the world.

Mr. Tooker is a long-standing active member of global industry organizations and has over his career participated in and Chaired industry forums on payments and regulatory and compliance issues. He is past Chair of the Payments and Compensation Committee of BAFT and is currently serving as a member of the BAFT Board of Directors.


Hans-Joachim von Hänisch

Mr von Hänisch joined KYC Exchange Net AG in June 2013 after five years at Standard Chartered Bank, London, where he was Director and Regional Head for Origination and Client Coverage for banks based in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Central & Eastern Europe. Mr von Hänisch was deeply involved in the strategic client development of Eastern Europe and gained valuable insights into KYC requirements for emerging market clients. Between 2009 and 2013, Mr. von Hänisch represented Standard Chartered Bank in the European Council of BAFT-IFSA and chaired the BAFT-IFSA KYC Initiative. Prior to his role at Standard Chartered, Mr von Hänisch was a Managing Director at WestLB AG, London, were his roles included senior positions in bank relationship management, funding, private placements, bond origination and bond syndicate. Mr von Hänisch started his career 1989 at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and its successors Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan in Frankfurt.


Sean Walsh

Mr. Sean Walsh, Senior Vice President at HSBC Bank, is Head of US Payment services. His 18 year career spans across payment operations at Citi and Barclays prior to joining HSBC earlier this year. While with Citi Mr. Walsh held the title of Director responsible for multiple USD payment operations as well as lead for implementing NA instance of Fundtech's payment platform, preparing payment portion of Resolution Plan and readiness for Dodd-Frank 1073 changes. He is currently a member of the NY FRB's Payment Risk Committee and a long time participant of the NYCH Fed/CHIPs Committee.


Stephen Wojciechowicz

Mr. Stephen Wojciechowicz is a Product Manager for Deutsche Bank Trust Companies Americas, responsible for the strategic development and delivery of Cash Management Services for Financial Institutions. He is the current chairman of the BAFT Payments Product Management committee and of the BAFT Reg E Task Force.

Mr. Wojciechowicz has been engaged in the financial services industry since 1990, re-joining Deutsche Bank in 2012 after having worked for at HSBC to expand funds transfer services offered by that bank. Prior to HSBC, he had a variety of roles at SWIFT, including selling to large corporates and managing the development of SWIFT’s file transfer service and foreign exchange confirmation-matching product in North America. Previously, he held positions at a number of financial institutions in both product and operations as well as a product management position at Fundtech, a software vendor specializing in services for the financial industry.


Kenneth T.P. Wong

Mr. Wong is Vice President and Director, Financial Institutions Product Management at TD Securities. He has over 23 years Treasury, Cash Management and Payments experience with special interest in the Foreign Exchange integrated Payments and Clearing space. Mr. Wong has extensive international exposure with extended working assignments in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Prior to joining TD Securities, Mr. Wong was Global Head of Payments and Clearing for Standard Chartered Bank; and prior to that he worked for Citibank in the eBusiness group. In 1999, Mr. Wong was a pioneer in a payments infrastructure start-up, in partnership with VISA International and Allianz Group, where he designed and built an alternate cross-border / cross-currency clearing system that guaranteed delivery to which he is accredited as inventor in two patents.


Philip Zeidner

Philip Zeidner is a Vice President in Treasury Services - BSMS division of BNY Mellon and has worked for the Bank for a combined 26 years. In his current role Phil is responsible for business development and new product initiatives, financial performance oversight and client communication of industry issues for International USD Funds Transfer products.

Mr. Zeidner has been involved in Funds Transfer - Payments for 37 years working for Chase Manhattan Bank, ABN Bank Nederland, Westpac Banking Corp and Credit Suisse First Boston before joining the Bank of New York in 1998. He has been in his current role of International USD Payments Product Manager since 2002.

Mr. Zeidner has been an active member of the BAFT Payments and Compensation committee since 1988, and is currently the committee’s Chair. He has chaired numerous Funds Transfer Symposiums and Conferences, and has been a featured speaker at industry conferences on various payment topics.
