Annual Golf Shotgun Tournament
7:30AM – 12:30PM 

Taking place at the Hyatt Grand Cypress, the new course adds another dimension of play to the Orlando gold course scene with steeper and more challenging bunkers and slopes. Registration required.

New Course, A Tribute to the Old Course

Set in the midst of an open meadow, the New Course is Jack Nicklaus’ tribute and homage to the famed Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. This Scottish links masterpiece is complete with double greens, stone bridges and walls, gorse mounds, burns and pot bunkers as deep as 12 feet—all in the spirit of the true Scottish original.

Jump-start your day with yoga! Join a small, private yoga class, and/or kayak around the lake to kick off the conference. Registration required.

Future Leaders Ceremony and Presentation

Celebrate the graduation of 31 up and coming transaction bankers - the Future Leaders Class of 2018 - on Sunday, May 6 during the Opening Dinner. The Class of 2018 worked on four different capstone projects and a Future Leader representative from each project team will present their project findings during the conference. These presentations have been an attendee favorite since its introduction at the conference three years ago.

5th Annual BAFT Fun Run/Walk 
6:30AM – 7:45AM

A conference favorite, the Annual 5K Run/1K Walk is now on it's 5th year. This event is growing in popularity each year. Invite your colleagues and form a team for more fun. Registration required.

Run/Walk Fee:$40

  • Walkers take a separate route that is 1.5 miles 
  • Prizes will be awarded at the Monday evening reception: Fastest Man, and Fastest Woman. (Other prizes may be awarded)

Lunch and Learn

Back by popular demand, discuss hot industry topics with experts in the field in an informal setting during lunch. Each table will cover one industry topic of interest. Post Conference Workshop: Financial Crime Compliance 2.0 - North America

Building on the success of the the Financial Crime Compliance Workshops we offered in 2017, the Financial Crime Compliance Workshop returns to North America with deeper dive discussions on two key areas of financial crime – Trade Based Money Laundering and Correspondent Banking. A detailed discussion on the new Wolfsberg Customer Due Diligence Questionnaire will also be covered.

Plan to stay the full day of Wednesday to join this special workshop. Annual Conference attendees just add $250 to your registration fee, up to $300 discount off regular workshop rate.
