Pre-Conference Workshop: Credit Insurance

Held in conjunction with the Regional Bank Conference, we are pleased to offer a pre-conference workshop on Credit Insurance on June 19 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM. This special workshop is only open to regional banks*.

In the workshop, you’ll learn how the Credit Insurance product can help regional banks manage their credit exposures around the world. This includes:

  • Using the product to cover various trade finance and supply chain exposures
  • Incorporating the product in your underwriting protocols to ensure the bank can service its customers wherever and whatever their exposure is without having to refer customers to other banks

You may choose to attend the workshop only, or register to attend the full Regional Bank Conference. All registered Workshop attendees are also invited to join the opening reception for the Conference. There are only 40 seats available for this workshop. Reserve yours today!

The Hartford

Mr. Jared Kotler leads the Credit and Political Risk Insurance (CPRI) business unit at The Hartford. In this role, he’s responsible for helping The Hartford’s clients mitigate the risks of doing business internationally. Prior to joining The Hartford, he served as the Head of Credit and Political Risk at Validus Specialty where he turned a fledging Credit and Political Risk unit into a regional leader. This included operating a market-leading binding authority in connection with Lloyd’s syndicates, covering political risks for financial institutions, private equity, mining, power, infrastructure, and manufacturing clients.

Mr. Ben Roberts is a credit insurance broker for the Meridian Finance Group. Previously, he worked for Meridian’s partner, Texel Finance, in London for 5 years before moving to the United States to establish Meridian’s New York office in 2018. Mr. Roberts is responsible for working with US-based financial institution, trader and corporate clients in coordination with other global offices of Texel and Meridian. Texel and Meridian are leading specialist credit and political risk insurance brokers with offices in London, Singapore, New York and Santa Monica.
