The BAFT Global Annual Meeting – The Americas continues to deliver on its strengths of quality programming, leading industry speakers and networking opportunities all in one conference! The Annual Meeting attracts 400+ senior transaction bankers, consulting and technology firms, corporates, government and other stakeholders from over 100+ organizations. The audience will be diverse in geographic scope as well as executive portfolio.

We are once again carving out dedicated times throughout the conference for networking and bilateral meetings with your peers, colleagues and clients. This allows attendees to attend the educational programs and still meet with clients/prospects during the conference.

Plus, we are introducing our new Financial Crime Compliance Workshop on Wednesday, May 3. This is a separate event and registration from the Global Annual Meeting, which takes place immediately after the Wednesday sessions of the Annual Meeting. It will cover topics such as customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, correspondent banking and sanctions. So plan ahead to stay the full day of Wednesday to also include this in your travel schedule.

  • Future Leaders Ceremony and Presentation
    We are celebrating the 2nd annual graduating class of the Future Leaders Program – class of 2017. This is a select group of up and rising young professionals in transaction banking who have been mentored by seasoned executives in the industry. Their capstone project will be presented during Tuesday’s general session, and their graduation ceremony will be held during the opening dinner on Sunday, April 30.
     
    Annual Golf and Run/Walk Events
    Treat yourself or your favorite golfer/client to a memorable conference. Golf enthusiasts will be thrilled with the resort’s 18-hole championship course. Last time we were at the Miller Course, this time, test out the Soffer course, designed by Raymond Floyd.


    At the time anyone who is registered or will register for the BAFT Golf Tournament on Sunday, April 30 – it is no longer possible to receive a refund for canceling your golf registration.  You are welcome to provide a substitute.

    GAM Walk
    Not a golfer? Kick off the conference with a 5K Run/1K Walk instead. It’s a great way to start off your day and conference as well!

    Awards will be given for Fastest Man, Fastest Woman, Biggest Team, and Best (most creatively) Dressed.

  • Featured Workshop
    New! Financial Crime Compliance – North America
    Wednesday, May 3, 2017

    Immediately after the Global Annual Meeting, we will offer a Financial Crime Compliance workshop from 11:30AM – 5:00PM. The workshop will be taught by Alma Angotti, a widely recognized anti-money laundering expert, formerly from FinCEN, SEC and FINRA and now serves as Managing Director for Global Investigations & Compliance with Navigant. Workshop will cover topics such as Customer Due Diligence, Trade Based Money Laundering, Transaction Monitoring, Correspondent Banking and Sanctions.

    This is a separate event and registration from the Global Annual Meeting. Those attending the Workshop ONLY are invited to join the Wednesday morning sessions during the Global Annual Meeting. Special bundled pricing available, a $250 discount, for those interested to attend both the Global Annual Meeting and the Financial Crime Compliance Workshop. Members already registered for the Global Annual Meeting only add $200 to attend the workshop.

Full conference registration fees include admission to all three days of the education sessions and all networking events and meals. There are no one day rates available. However, group rates apply for 5 or more attendees from the same institution/company registering at full conference rate at the same time.
